Not human

Yes, I know - cheating is cheating, but what if your partner is cheating with a robot doll - would you feel less outrage? - no human factor there to consider.
I have read with some sense of alarm that robot doll brothels are already in business in a few countries - and the consumer market for these sex robot dolls is becoming larger. Could this be a sign of the times? - that pretty soon robots will take over our world? Would you care if your husband or wife cheated with a robot doll? What are your thoughts?

Most men anyway treat their wives as robot dolls and so I suppose there will be an element of cheating being experienced.

We might ask you the same thing. That is, assuming you're a white Christian.

I'm jealous, and jealousy can apply to non-humans too. I would surely feel cheated.
I don't see this robot business as positive, because I'm afraid it will make people lose touch with reality, it is already happening and it's getting worse this way.

@Kandae11 And they'll be perfect because you can set the personality you want, too.
But then, like all technological devices, they have bugs and glitches and users will have to face reality, once for all.

@rakski True, they treat these dolls like partners and eventually they want to marry.
A very lonely wedding, as I doubt the parents and relatives accept that.

At an office I worked at, we bought a "special" doll for a funny guy who worked for our underwriter. He took the joke well.

@Kandae11 He was not married and complained often about not dating, so we thought it would be funny (poor taste though).

There have always been those inflatable dolls so this is just an advanced version.

@Kandae11 The human touch would be missing so to speak. Very Stepford Wives.

I'd have a problem with this. I'm a very jealous girl.

i do believe that is still cheating because the doll has the physical appearance of a human; ergo, the wife should be jealous of the doll.
