Ouch!

Once again, I'm up for nomination for the "Clumsiest Person Alive" award. This morning I got up to use the bathroom, and on my way back to my bedroom, I stubbed the toes on my un-injured foot on my crutch (I didn't have my walking boot on), tripped, started to fall forward, and inevitably stepped down on my injured foot. I didn't put weight on the entire foot (just the front of it) before I was able to regain my balance, but OUCH! Man, that hurt. And was also frightening as for a minute I started to crash into a nightstand and thought I was about to break my neck!
If there was a medal for being clumsy, I would surely win it. I knew this would happen before I saw the orthopedist again. I just hope I didn't do any more damage. The pain in my foot has settled down some, and there doesn't seem to be any extra swelling. The toes on my previously non-injured foot sure do hurt, though. I hope I didn't break any of those!
One thing can be said about life as a clumsy person: There is rarely a dull moment. But that's not always necessarily a good thing!

@Srbageldog I hope that you can get rid of them and maybe just maybe stay upright. That is how you are suppose to be for the most part ya know?

@Ithink Yes, in theory that's how you're supposed to be!
My body and gravity says otherwise, though.

My toe is feeling better, so maybe it isn't broken. It's still pretty sore, but not like it was that first day. Man, I hope this ankle is healed by next week and I won't have to be on these crutches anymore! Of course, I'm clumsy without them...which is why I need them to begin with.

I am sorry! And I wholly understand. My big toes are always injured. All sorts of things happen to them

@Srbageldog There should be beautiful shoes that have clumsy people“s toes protectors

@marguicha That is a great idea! Why hasn't anyone invented these yet?

I am sorry to hear that. Toes are so sensitive! I am always bumping into things it seems. I will be glad when I can walk normally again and not have to worry about putting weight on my injured foot.

I think you're right! Only my luck I would fall down and be stuck rolling around in bubble wrap!

It's okay to be clumsy I am sure you don't intend to be one. Just do take extra care next time to avoid being physically hurt. Take care my friend.

I am being very careful now. I am very accident-prone. Thank you for your kind words.

Thank you. Yes, accidents happen! I've been having a lot of them lately. Some of us are just clumsy I guess!

Thank you. It seems that no matter how careful I try to be, accidents always seem to find me! Thankfully the pain in my toes is starting to subside.
