No, as much as I'd want to, I couldn't puposely hurt someone. The only way I would say something is if it was a close friend and I could tell them quielty and trying to help them not hurt them.

If it's someone that I know, most definitely I would tell them. And just depending on the person's personality, and if they seem to be down to earth, I would let them know. Now if I get a feeling that the person would get hurt or offended, I wouldn't say anything. But I sure would want somebody to let me know if I had weave and my tracks were showing. One time, my roommate had gave me a french roll and tuck and stuff some hair in the center to make it full. Well, I went to church and got my shout on, and sure enough that weave made it's way out and was "dancing" all over the place. (lol) On top of that, I had a crush on this young man at church. He wasn't there that Sunday, but boy news spread fast. Someone made sure he found out, and we just laughed about it together. I was embarassed that my weave came out, but I get over things like that real fast and get my laugh on! In the end, I sure would like to know and would tell most people if their weave was showing!

I guess it depends on how well I knew the person. If it was a friend of mine, sure, I'd tell them. If I didn't know the person or if they were just an acquaintance, I wouldn't say anything.

No, it would hurt their feelings. But, if they asked me, and were serious to hear the truth, then yes, I would tell them. Blessings, M&M

that is a hard one because most people who wear bad weaves don't acknowledge it and thats way they wear them... depending on who the person is ... my family and friends yes only because I do hair and I don't like the people I love looking like a hot mess... but outsiders no I just pray someone they know very well lets them know :o)lol

I had a friend in high school when weave first really blew up...she would glue the tracks to the top of her head right on top of her head..the heffa would carry glue and extra tracks in her bag..one day in class one of the tracks slipped out and she seriously sat there and re-attached it..I would tell a chick in a minute, you need to do something about that..I know people who own salons, girl..they will hook you up..you obviously don't know what you are doing..lol..lmao

I don't think I would tell them if I didn't know them. But I probably would tell them if I did know them.

I just found this discussion. I think weaves are just plain wrong...lol. There are methods one can use to grow out their own hair but they really must be diligent. Once you get the hang of it you see the changes pretty quickly!

bad for whom? you or the person? what if it is the most beautiful hair dress for him/her? If I don't know that person, I will never never approach him/her and say it's bad. Hahahaha! no way! with a friend? maybe a little different, I will express my observation and how I feel.
