Self employment you pay all overhead costs, you pay your own workmen's comp, you pay your own insurance, etc etc.
It ain't all people seem to think it is.

I prefer self-employment than working for someone else. Where I sell I have to answer to someone else and that is not easy at all.

I will prefer to be self employed given that I will actually be hunting alone so my cost is actually pretty low

I prefer self employment but I currently employed and I am very lucky for having a kind boss so I like them both..

I am making that plunge from being employed to being self employed / semi retired. Being employed brings a guaranteed paycheck every month - where as self employment is a little more uncertain - but you are 100% in control of your fortunes!
