Self employment or employment..

Self employment makes you your own boss,you make your own rules ,you make your own goals and strive more to achieve them..employment you have to satisfy someone's goals, wait to be paid after a certain period of time and wait to be ordered around..

Self employment you pay all overhead costs, you pay your own workmen's comp, you pay your own insurance, etc etc. It ain't all people seem to think it is.

@oindo_edu I prefer self-employment than working for someone else. Where I sell I have to answer to someone else and that is not easy at all.

I will prefer to be self employed given that I will actually be hunting alone so my cost is actually pretty low

I prefer self employment but I currently employed and I am very lucky for having a kind boss so I like them both..

I am making that plunge from being employed to being self employed / semi retired. Being employed brings a guaranteed paycheck every month - where as self employment is a little more uncertain - but you are 100% in control of your fortunes!
