Good evening to all, my fellow mylotters!
At last… at long last… it rained! The gloomy skies did share the rain this afternoon.
The rain was not very strong because it only had about 10 minutes of downpour, and then it is showering now. My son, who had his afternoon siesta, woke up and he took this picture of the rain, and posted it at once on Facebook. I asked him how he can take the pouring rain when I can’t. It seems even taking a picture of the rain using the phone’s camera needs a skillful hand.
Now, the atmosphere is cool.by the way, I drove with my sister to the cemetery to pay our respects to our departed parents and grandfather.
Can you take a picture of the falling rain itself with your mobile phone, or do you use your camera to capture the raindrops?

you can but depending on the quality of your cameras built in setting, itll either come out looking like streaks or sorta blurry. its better to somewhere in the photo to catch the rain sorta bouncing off something like the ground. it helps to convey that its currently raining. just take a lot of pics. one of them may actually look right. it also depends on the rain, light or heavy, small or big drops.

@Plethos that is the place where I can take a shot of the rain dropping as shown by the ripples they created on the cemented area in our garage.

@ridingbet I do use my phone's camera. It works very well, and I think it's better than my regular camera.

@JustBhem parasol is umbrella, hija. 'para' in Spanish language may be 'for', while 'sol' is sun. so the 'parasol' is 'for the sun'.

the plants are placed on in pots and we have plants growing from the ground as well. i hope the grass will grow since our lawn had no grass due to summer heat.

That is nice! You waited for this for a few days now. It is not as hot tonight here. In the afternoon, it is a bit gloomy but it did not rain. Good that you were able to pay respect to your parents. Good evening @ridingbet
