Do you agree on intimacy on first date

This was on a call in radio program this morning and people were like there's nothing wrong with it but I'm not in support though my opinion. What do you think about this?

If both people are wanting intimacy the first night then why not? If you don't want it, and think it's wrong that's fine But lots of people who are intimate on a first date are still together years after So why do you not think it's right?
