Weddings are beautiful. The bride can't help it, she goes on to the shopping mall with friends choosing from different wedding gowns. The choice can be difficult as they all look beautiful. She choose different colors for her maids, pink and blue is always in her mind. It's Really fun indeed. The groom on the other hand is not left out. He goes on to choose from the different types and colors of suit, it's difficult to choose too. As am typing this post now, a friend of mind is getting married. The joy on their faces I mean the groom and the bride makes it difficult for me to say who is the happiest. Hence am sharing my thoughts with my lotters. who do you think is the happiest during wedding : The groom or the bride?

I don't think you can compare or even know who is happiest bride or groom. Maybe they are equally happy, even if they are happy in different ways. Maybe one is thinking of their life together, the life they will build together and what is in store for the next 50-60 years. Maybe one of them is thinking how many children they will have, will they be boys? girls? twins? Will they take vacations, what kind of pets will they have? All of these thoughts could make them very happy. I think the excitement of living together and building a life together would far out weigh the happiness experienced on the wedding day. Oh yes, the wedding day is exciting as they celebrate their union with all their friends and family, but who is actually happier? I don't think we will ever know as their joy is matched just by the way they look at each other.

Yes @ThinkGratitude it is tough to say. Each has his or her own thoughts and it can vary case to case.

Well i can think of the following answer: Bride She is happy because she gets to get ready and pamper herself and be showered with gifts. Yet she is apprehensive because a new journey will start in her life, a new home, and a question whether everything will go alright? Groom He is happy because he will be with the woman of his choice. And the starting days of marriage are pretty exciting. He is worried that he now has additional responsibilities and need to balance between his parents and his wife- which is easier said than done.

Honestly I think it is the bride that is the most happy about weddings. Even though she may seen somewhat stressed out about things, it is a big deal for her. He, the groom, is basically along for the ride so to speak.

I think both the bride and the groom are happy on their wedding day. The bride has a beautiful long on and feels delighted with the way she looks. The groom dresses in a special suit and also feels proud. They feel in love and hopeful for a wonderful future together.

The bride always looks happy. And the groom looks stunned, confused, and a little scared of the future.

Yeah, you got the look. Probably, the groom is thinking of family bills to pay hence forth, since he won't be a bachelor no more..

@swayamsiddha You're right, but just try and think deep about it, or think about those that have gotten married around and see if you can come out with the happiest.

It should be the groom more because God had given him the woman for him. Remember the man is a hunter by nature and he searches for the right woman for him.

I think the bride is always the happiest. Women dream to grow up and be married to a good man. The groom is happy too, but never like the bride.

I think that this is a very odd question. Do you really expect a general answer which is valid for everybody? Each to their own!
