Rescued is my favorite breed!

Watching YouTube videos of various interesting content has been a habit of mine and lately, I found myself watching animal rescue videos.
It broke my heart to see animals so badly abused by humans and ask myself "How could some people be so cruel?" 
but then it also touches my heart to see that as much as there are heartless people in this world, there are also a lot of caring ones who loves animals and has dedicated themselves to helping those unwanted, unloved, abandoned, stray and abused.
My heart is overwhelmed with joy to see that the animals has been rescued and at the end there is a happy ending for them as they find their forever homes and receive the love they so very much deserve.
My fur friends are mostly strays that I've adopted while my pet now is a gift from my uncle which he says was given away by a friend who could no longer care for her because she already have quite a number cats in their home.
Have you ever adopted a rescue animal? an abandoned or stray perhaps? or volunteered for an animal group?

The shelters always need help with funds! It seems like they never seem to have enough funds to get the necessary items for the animals. That's why I created Phoenix Bears, so that the money from the bears that I sell will go to help out the shelter and the animals. If only the would would open it's eyes and see how much help EVERYONE needs, including the animals. Instead of being focused on themselves, focus on helping the people and animals that need the help and start working towards making their lives better...imagine how much better this world could become.
Everyone can come up with an excuse for not helping, but the great feeling for helping is so much better! I just had an article published on Facebook about my work ( it's at North County Paws Cause. The article is titled "FROM THE ASHES RISES THE PHOENIX ". It details how the fire started and how I am donating the money from the sales of the Phoenix bears to the shelter. Think about it, even if it's only a quarter, if others donated just a quarter it will add up and soon there would be enough to buy a large bag of animal food, or some bedding, or neuter or spay a dog or cat....
Ooops, sorry, I didn't mean to get on my soap box again. I tend to get that way about certain subjects, and animals are at the top of that list. If you have animals, give them a hug for me!

I get petitions in my e-mail from somewhere to sign about those that are so cruel to animals. My heart breaks each time I get one. I just want to sit and cry at how people can be. Then when I read about animals being reunited with their owners I perk up. I love happy endings. My cat I had before Sophie was an rescue. She was put out in the street at the age of 13 weeks and my ex husband brought her home to me. We were married at the time. Sophie was abandoned after she was 2 days old and this family found her and for whatever reason she gave her away and I just lost my cat so I took Sophie in. She was 3 months and in August she will be celebrating her 4th birthday.

Happy sophie has a loving home. It is indeed heartbreaking to see this poor creatures abused and homeless. I do hope there'll be a lot of people out there who'll do good to the animals instead of hurting them.

Haven't adopted an animal or stray but I have supported and continue to do so organizations that take care of animals and strays.
