A female dog reunites with her owners after a four year absence

If there is one way for an owner of a dog or cat to make sure if the animal gets lost, the chances of recovery are better that the animal has been microchipped. Bradley Weiferich was sad when his pet dog named Bambi who is 12 years of age ran away from home four years ago in Lansing Michigan. Fortunately for Bradley, his pet dog Bambi managed to stay alive for the four years of her disappearance from her home when she was located by a Toledo police officer recently. The Toledo police officer picked up Bambi as she was walking in a neighborhood in Toledo Ohio recently. Bambi was taken to the Lucas County Canine Care & Control where an employee at the animal shelter found out that the dog had a owner when she found out a microchip on her. Bradley and his relatives traveled 100 miles to Toledo to reunite with his pet dog.
