'Happy Mother's Day with Two Very Special Girls'

I had no idea what we had planned, for Mother's Day. Jay had been talking on the phone with our daughter, Mari Lyn and I was unsure about what was going on, Sunday afternoon. When my husband finally hung up, he let me know that our daughter wanted to have a cookout with us, at their home. I agreed, this would make a very special day for both Mari Lyn and me, the 'two' mothers being honored. Upon arriving, Aubrey met us at the door declaring, 'Happy Mother's Day, Grandma Jolly!' We all shared hugs and a lovely handmade card, compliments of Aubrey:) We had a beautiful afternoon at their house, with 15 year old Dooie(dachshund) perched on Grandma's lap, most of the day!
