The power went off at 3 AM followed by storm and rain

Dear friends, It is a nightmare when the power is off at the middle of sleep. Yesterday Power got off at 3 AM exactly. So we opened the door then realized that storm started already. The blow was so strong and I have seen such a storm first time. Hubby warned me not to stay in balcony as any object may come by flying and may hit on head. Then heavy rain followed rain did not stay long but the wind. We had an impression that the power may not restored as it may disrupted due to the storm. However, it restored within half an hour. The sleep disturbed heavily as I started to sleep again the alarm bell started to call… The temperature is down due to the same. I have seen on road side, tree branches are broken in many places. Any updates on weather like this? Were you safe and had sound sleep at night?

The weather has become too freaky in Capital City and NCR region dear @Sreekala...though we never had any storm last night we had a couple of days back which has uprooted many big trees and also damaged many tree branches! Hope things will settled soon! Thanks!

How you missed the storm yesterday night. It was too heavy and I don't think the near by areas of Delhi missed it. Anyway if it changed its route then it is good. In your place more trees are there so more destruction of trees may happen. I know you are talking about Sunday, that day evening we had storm but it was not stronger like yesterday night.

In lowland areas, typhoons are quite dangerous if it is in high level. In my city, land erosions are one of the concern since I am living on the mountain.

haha I agree this kind of storm in summer is unusual. I have no idea how the weather pattern changes in India. Anyway I am glad with the temperature lowering as it a great relief.
