Good morning on a Thursday my friends.
I woke up early despite sleeping late last night because of the barking of the dogs that my son brought out at 5am for their morning ritual.
It is getting hotter again and my scalp is itching. No, I do not have seborrhea or dandruff. The itch may be due to the sweating of my scalp, or baby hair/hair follicles are developing.
I have already consumed the patchouli with aloe Vera and coconut oil as shampoo and I will start with this bar shampoo later.
I have thick strands of hair, curly when long, and I want to maintain my crowning glory like when I was younger. I hope the bar shampoo will yield positive results.
Does your scalp itch too during hot weather conditions, or even in cold season?

Yes I do. At firstst I thought it was lice (pardon me but is the usual cause of itch for kids scalp
). But deeper observation brought me to realization that I have a growing white hair, a lot of them. And they are way too itchy. It is a part of the phase of aging that I do not want to accept rather easy. Lol.
All I can say now is 'My grandma was right, it is itchy!'

oh yes, i think that is also one reason why my scalp itches. maybe the baby hairs are the whie hairs, and yes, they truly itch.
i used to let my mother pull out the white hairs even though she said what will grow will already be white hair.
oh, but lice and nits' season is during summer, right?

oh yeah take care of your hair, and if you hair is not gray yet don't dye.
No, my scalp usually itches when my hair is growing (like in your case) fortunately no dandruff.

My scalp itches a lot, but due to dandruff.
Thankfully, the salon told me about a nice shampoo and it works wonders!
Hope your itching goes away.

there are some shampoos that are anti-dandruff. one is Dove, and also Pantene. i use Palmolive if i have dandruff but so far, i have none since 10 years or more ago.

@Courtlynn really? and i thought dove is the mildest shampoo. but i think Johnson's baby shampoo is also good, but when i use it, my hair gets sticky and limp.
Pantene is not good for my hair too.

@RubyHawk oh, good for you because you don't sweat even when walking under the shady trees. here, even in front of the fan or while wiping the water off our body after bath, sweat already begins to form

@ridingbet I don't carry an umbrella unless it's raining but when I'm walking for exercise I'm under trees in the woods. I still work up a sweat.

yes, and with the bar shampoo (Patchouli) is a sticky shampoo, i have to rinse my hair several times/minutes, and i don't comb it right away. when it is about to dry, i just finger-comb it.do you use hair conditioner after every shampooing, hija?

Is that bar shampoo the one on FB that says organic?
My head is sometimes itchy and when I let my niece see what's in it that makes it itchy, she said dandruff. I can't believe it. So the next time I shampooed I massage it well since I always forget massaging that part always. Now, it doesn't itch anymore.

yes, if our skin is dry, it also follows that our scalp is dry as well. don't you apply oil like vitress to keep your scalp moistened?
