When A Bully Apologizes

In college I had a female classmate ,who so full of herself. She thought that she was pretty and smart. Pretty?? Well she's pretty average. Smart? hmmm. Her friends are smart. We weren't close. We were just classmates and we hardly ever talked. I was a transferee. In short, she did not know me well. There was one incident when one of my classmates could not remember the name of another classmate, but he was known as someone who was a slow-learner. Classmate a: Where's ahhh uhhhmmm. I forgot his name. The slow-learner Bully : there.(she pointed at me) Classmate a: Jeanette?? no. no .no. our guy classmate I was like huh? slow huh. There was also one incident where she hit my nape for fun. She said, it was a joke. I did not say anything. On the third incident. We had unannounced graded recitation in our marketing class. Three of my classmates weren't able to answer our professor's question. When my name was called and was able to answer without delay,she let out a big "whoaaaa" That's it. I decided I would confront her.When she went to the toilet ,I wanted to follow her. But I decided to fight smartly. I wrote her a letter.I wrote there that I was not the type of person who stoops down to people who has no class and maleducated. Told her anyone can be schooled but not educated.My letter was long enough to slap her the truth that she was more "bobo" ( Filipino term of stupid) than I was because I never depended on anybody in school just to pass the exams and so on. I gave the letter to her when she was so surrounded by her so-called friends. haha They were so curious to know what's inside the letter. She apologized to me after reading my letter.

Yes. It happens to be cousin who was bullying me when we were younger but then she changed again and began bullying people around her again because she thinks that her life is so much better now. I dont talk to her anymore.

once, I got him out of being expelled after a fight by telling the head teacher that we were just pretending to fight - he was thankful to me for saving him and actually protected me from other bullies for a while - this was in the 1970's

Never had a bully apologize but it was nice of her to apologize, I would accept and forgive but may not be able to forget

Yes, I had. It happened many years ago. It was weird first and it was hard to accept the apology. But later I could forgive and it is better now. I could forget those painful bullied years, I guess I am over it.

yeah be bygone be bygone. nothing harm to be humble.

Mine never apologized, I'm sure they got themselves their own karma in their lives.
