Painful Times

Growth is painful. Change is painful. But nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don't belong. I am progressing to reach my full potential in every area of life. How about you? Let's face it. The fact that you aren't where you want to be should be enough motivation, right? Unfortunately, it is not enough push for some people. It is important to look forward with hope. Not backwards with regret. Get the courage to shake it off and move through the various obstacles of life with a positive outlook. Here's some suggestions to get through painful times: 1. Write in a journal. 2. Make time for prayer, meditation or yoga. 3. Make time for personal reflection. 4. Share your feelings with someone you trust. 5. Go for a walk and pay attention to your surroundings. 6. Recite positive affirmations every day. 7. Post positive quotes around your work area or on the bathroom mirror. 8. Read an uplifting or inspirational book. 9. Go fishing or just sit by the water and listen to the waves. Please share some of your ideas so we can learn from one another. Thank you, Latisha. I would usually go on a pamper spree like getting a massage and a pedicure or waxing.
