“Have you ever said something and made a handsome profit?”

The question seems tricky to answer. In my own perspective, I had said something in every posted discussion on myLot, responded to comments, do comments on other topics’ discussions and gained some amount of money. I am pretty sure that most of you will agree that it wasn’t having a huge amount of money. But the point is, we are being productive interacting here. In some point, it could be a handsome profit if the money will be accumulated.
If you are a consultant by profession, you also do gain a handsome profit.

Lots of profit and valuable friendships, pals and good advice too. Fun too participating at forums. Aside of making money, you get so much more at mylot.

On one occasion, I convinced a friend to get into a business that I knew he would be good at. He eventually listened. He made a lot of money and I worked with him and I also made some good money.

Not that I know of really.
Maybe something I say or said makes someone laugh or moves them deeply but not made any money by saying something really special in a sense.

@Shavkat
It is really.
When I write things I never know what will happen but if I can help someone out or make them smile or laugh that is enough for me at least.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I must admit that I am introvert. And as I grow older, I tend to become a joker and it is also my nature to help others in times of difficulties. I felt happy and glad to help even if they don't show their gratefulness.

Yes, when I had a background extra part in American Vandal, season 2, I was given no lines to say but had to respond to what another actor said in a scene. I happened to respond well apparently and was made a featured actor for that scene, increasing my pay that day by 500%.

@JamesHxstatic I think you might have the chance for another stunt in the next season. I will really try my best to check it later.

@Shavkat Sometimes it pays well like that one, but not often. I did watch Season 1 of the series. It has a lot of juvenile humor in poor taste and Season 2 probably will too. But ratings were good enough to get it another season and there was even an article in the New Yorker magazine.

With your line of thinking and reasoning, yes, I have made profit from what I said here in the site.

Generally, saying all the right things of course would benefit us in life.. especially if we are genuine in saying them..
