It's been a month since my surgery due to a broken collarbone from motorcycle crash. I can only use my left hand and because I'm right-handed everthing looks like in slow motion when I'm doing it. The only thing that I can do as normal as my right hand do is using my smartphone So I spent most of my time with my smartphone. But it's getting boring after a week so I decided to learn how to draw with my left hand A simple smiley emoticon and some doodling. I'm proud to say that my drawings look as good a 3yo drawing Sometimes I just printout some coloring page from pinterest and my 5yo niece gladly volunteer herself to join me. "You're doing good" my niece said yesterday when I we coloring on her little pony coloring book I was busy thinking what else I can do to spend time with my left hand. I miss making dolls and stuffed animals with my sewing machine or making some felt craft, but I have to wait till my shoulder heal to be able to back with my craft works. I barely using my laptop for browsing internet I so almost internet stuff on my smartphone thats why I completly forgot about myLot. Just now I use laptop because I need to download subtitle for some TV series and when I open my browser myLot page will automaticly open, and thats how I'm here again after long hiatus, writing this for almost 2 hours with my left hand is quite a hard-work for me Today I have appointment with my doctor to see how my bones doing in there. I pray for a good news though the pain still stinging. and that's my story for now. How are you doing there?

Sory to hear about your right hand. Praying for your speedy recovery. Sometime, we only learn to appreciate other things when something happens.

thank you for the pray. You are absolutely right. I used to overwork my hands, especially my right hand until it feel sore and never give it a proper rest. Now when I can't use it for a while I really really feel awful.

@mrswhitfield Youre most welcome. That is true. You miss all the times that it has helped you. But on the other hand, you learn to appreciate the other things that you have like your left hand.

How about cooking or gardening? That does not need so much fine motricity.

I'm so clumsy with my left hand. I tried making omelette once and almost burn it and my mom won't let me go near the stove until I can use my right hand
