Can education end terrorism?

Can education make a difference to the bigger picture? Will eradicating illiteracy also remove the scourge of terrorism? Let us examine if education can end the deadlock and ignite young minds to turn to peace.

Education ends ignorance. In order to end terrorism, people must remove fear, regardless if they are educated or not. Remember terrorism are made by those rich and educated and we are in their mercy.

Injustice and social inequality are the root causes of terrorism. I also believe that education actually promotes terrorism. I still quake when I remember one of my college professor who was considered a "terror".

I've read articles about Al Qaida, they sell heroin and well, they are what they are, so no it's a way of life it seems they are fighting for, bluntly. They hide behind a religious reasons, but they are what they are.

We cannot disregard culture and religion that highly.affects the indivudual. If you were brought up to hate and your culture and religion dictates you to do so, educating them will never erase that. .
