I have posted about NASA space things before. I am not sure how many people knew, but Apollo17.Org chronicles the very last moonshoot, literally from T-minus 2 hours all the way through the entire mission into re-entry. It is far, far more than one would ever be able to get through in one day, but is great to view in segments, I think.
The way it is laid out is incredible - you have video (when available) on one side, and right underneath is a transcript of all the communications between the crew and mission control.
On the other side, there are pictures, displayed in their order of occurrence.
If nothing else, just to see the only night launch of the Saturn V is absolutely breathtaking.
A real-time interactive journey through the Apollo 17 mission. Relive every moment as it occurred in 1972. 300+ hours of audio, 22+ hours of video, 4,200+ photos.

One of my favorites too. I am partial to Apollo and also the space early space shuttle era because my dad worked on the shuttle's fuel tank during that time.
