Welcome to Monday-on-Tuesday

You have to love our neighbors across the pond (sorry, neighbours). There are towns in England named "Stratford-Upon-Avon" (birthplace of Shakespeare, who would have been "BillyBob Shakes Huntin' Rifle" if he'd been born in the south ) and Henley-On-Thames (no, John Roberts, not the birthplace of Don Henley, but thanks for playing ). Welcome to the day of Monday-On-Tuesday. This day frequently appears in the calendar. It's the first day after a three-day weekend, and everything about it feels like Monday. But it's Tuesday, not Monday. Adding to the misery of a Monday-on-Tuesday, the rest of the week will seem one day behind. Then there's that nasty trick that Monday pulls on us normally: showing up on Monday next week. Have an extra cup of your favorite wake-um-up beverage (I'm drinking chocolate tea right now). We'll get through this Monday-on-Tuesday together! Yes, it sure is Monday...just on Tuesday:

There are oodles of different flavored teas out there. I got started down this slippery slope back in 1980 with Bigelow's Constant Comment tea. Now it's butterscotch blondie, vanilla caramel, and what I'm drinking right now: licorice spice.

I had you at “chocolate,” right? It isn’t as good as it sounds. I much prefer their chocolate mint tea. It’s by Harney & Sons, so it isn’t cheap. I like it but probably not enough to buy more.

Monday 28th May was a Bank Holiday in the United Kingdom. Now it is Tuesday 29th May. I have visited Stratford Upon Avon and seen the lovely river side town. I looked around the stunning looking garden of Anne Hathaway's beautiful garden.

When Monday is a holiday here it gets really confusing as the week starts on the Tuesday - very disorientating
