Which do you use most home remedies or over the counter drugs

I always look up home remedies online to see the natural ways of treating some ailments than getting to a pharmacy to get drugs for simple ailments like cough,catarrh ,pains etc. Which do you like to patronise?

If have time in hands than I prefer home remedies but when in hurry OTC medicines are the only rescue
