One of the best things about Starbucks, besides their varied drink menu, is the fact that if something goes wrong, they are quick to fix the problem.

On Tuesday afternoon, I went for my usual afternoon coffee. Since it's hotter than the inside of a pizza oven up here at this time of year, I wanted something COLD. I ordered my usual low fat coffee frappuccino with toffee-nut syrup in it. This was the salted caramel at Christmastime, but with no salt topping left, and me wanting to leave off the whipped cream, it's just a toffee-nut frap.

Anyway, when I got it, I noticed it didn't taste right, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. As I was finishing up with the cup, I happened to glance at the label, and saw they used hazelnut syrup. I guess that explained the odd taste.

Yesterday I went back to the same Starbucks, and explained to them what had happened. The guy was really nice, and gave me a toffee-nut frappuccino on the house, today. A big one too, since that was the size I'd ordered yesterday. Funny thing, but at Starbucks they do so well fixing their mistakes, that one almost hopes they'll screw up. LOL

yeah, ive gotten freebies also.
at my regular starbucks, since they know me, if someone just happened to decline a frap or a tea, untouched, i get asked if id like it, i say sure if its one that ive never tasted. i like it when customers dont want it if they get whipped cream on top and they didnt want it.

I personally don't care for their coffee. I'm not into flavoured coffee. Also, I have no idea where the nearest Starbucks would be. The nearest Timmies is about 25 minutes drive down the TransCanada Highway.
