Burglary again!

I just learned that our neighbor barbershop got robbed last night. The suspect scissored their way inside. None of the equipment were stolen.
But what's frustrating there was that they went through our patio on the second floor. They left quite a few evidence, like foot prints and a shirt.
When I left a post about this on FB, one of them said they were burglars last month. Looks were being targeted over here.
I have two puppies now but too young to even bark and I don't want my dog to get hurt
It's really not safe here anymore. Glad my relatives are coming, we won't be much alone in the house for a short while.

@Plethos I'm more worried about them scissoring their way inside like what they did in the barbershop. Well, I guess they could die first since we haven't change our electrical line which was pretty much expose.

@Letranknight2015 - hide them or other weapons throughout the house. i would also use a slingshot, so if i see a shadow at a distance poking around, i like to take a paintball to the shadow.

I had a good laugh at how you describe the burglar's method of entry, "The suspect scissored their way inside." and did they "comb" their way out?
Must remember this line to use if ever given the opportunity.
But the threat is no laughing matter if the robbers even had the audacity to announce their intention in Facebook. Please take necessary precautions.
