Let's play: What am I forgetting off of my list?

United States

I'm making a list, and yes I am checking it twice. Of course, this list has nothing to do with Christmas. I have to make sure that I have all of the things I need for camping tomorrow. I have sunscreen and my tick spray on the list (I'll make a separate discussion about that), I also have clothes, food. and blankets and pillows on the list. I have my river shoes on the list as well, we plan to go into the water so those will be helpful. I don't have goggles so that won't be on the list. I feel like I am forgetting something and I messaged my friend and said as much to her. The tent and an air mattress will be provided by her. What else am I missing? We will have things for making smores, other foods like hot dogs.. I just can't figure out what I am missing. What do you put on a camping list?

Ah, well unless he has one, we won't be getting the solar power battery charger. it's only one day so I'm not too terribly worried about it. As for duct tape and a first aid kit, those aren't a bad idea.

I don't camp. I have no desire to do so. As much as I like the outdoors I hate insects and find myself hiding indoors all the time to stay away from them. Mosquito bites can swell up big-time on me so I do my best to stay away from them. I hope you enjoy your camping trip.

I understand avoiding those mosquitos. Mosquitoes absolutely love me. They don't swell up very big on me, and I hope they never will. If that ever does happen I proably won't be going outside much afterwards. Thanks,

I Went camping this last weekend and had a lot of fun. There were some things that we should have brought but didn't, or didn't need but brought. Of course every camp site will be different and we may or may not need things depending.

I don't go camping. But if I did, I'd just bring the normal camping things.. tent, sleeping bag, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, water, and obviously clothes, lol. So to me, you have everything lol.

There's always one little thing you wished you had brought. We had a lot of stuff, so much that we had to hold a few things in our laps. We used almost all.

@Courtlynn Well there were a few things. A scouring pad for the cast iron skillet, some aloe vera gel would have come in handy as well.

I have written down the list, but that didn't stop me from forgetting things. I've had my friend add some things I needed to bring. I think I've got it all set now, but it's a lot of stuff.

@peachpurple I had a lot of fun. I wrote about it in another discussion. Bears? I don't remember what I said, I do know there were bears spotted near my home.

Plenty of drinking water, a coleman stove or barbeque, first aid kit, sunglasses, flashlight and batteries.

I totally forgot sunglasses! Haha, I would have been regertting that tomorrow. We will have a little lantern we can use at night. I will have a water bottle, and my friend is bringing a water bladder thing. I forget what they are actually called. Thanks though, these tips helped. Oh and we are cooking weiners so we'll just be using the camp fire.

The tick spray is a "all bugs" type spray. It did work though, really well.
