This story is really nice to share since Christine Lindsey who is battling cancer and the loss of her son was heartbreaking enough.
Last summer when Christine was traveling with her Lhasa Apso dog Sissy in Chattanooga Tennessee her best friend was stolen from her while Sissy was inside her auto.
The good fortune that Christine had was that Sissy had been micro chipped so if she was to be found, the powers that be would contact her that Sissy had been found.
Nine months later in Atlanta Georgia, an employee of the Fulton County Animal Control pick up Sissy who was wandering in the streets.
When Kim Meeks who is an employee at the animal shelter checked Sissy, she was able to contact her owner who lives in Memphis Tennessee on Thursday to tell her the good news.
Christine then traveled from Memphis to Atlanta to reunite with her pet, Christine cried when she was able to reunite with her lost dog after nine months of separation.

That is wonderful and if I were the owner, I would burst in tears.

@Deepizzaguy Thank you, George. Rarely do we find pets being returned to their owners.

Even though it took a while, that micro chip did get Sissy found and reunited with her owner. Kudos to her for getting her pet chipped. If more pet owners did like Christine Lindsey, a lot more pets would be reunited with their owners. I'm pleased that this story had a happy ending.
