Hello, all ! The graduation at school today went very well. We did mostly "regular" stuff in the morning, and then the kids got picked up by their parents/etc. around 3 pm. We (the teachers) got everything all ready--chairs, food, etc.--and put in its place, and then the kids and moms and dads--the ones that had been there today regularly and ones that didn't normally come on Friday The head teacher had the kids come out, and they sang their songs and got their little graduation certificates and a lei (the head teacher had made a Hawaiian theme). After that, the parents went into another yard with the kids and had refreshments. It turned out nice. I'm thanking the Lord I made it through the day, as tired as I was from last night (still have to make a post about that). We stayed about an hour later than usual and in a couple of the teachers' cases (one of them mine) we got overtime. I hope that you all have had a great Friday, and perhaps are having a great Saturday in your part of myLot land !
