What happened yesterday...

I've mentioned a couple of times I think "something" that happened yesterday--last night I was too tired afterward to even do a good night post, and so today I thought I would let you folks in on it.
I had gotten home from work and was sitting here at the computer, when I got an awful pain in my stomach. I took some antacid, but it didn't seem to help, so, since I didn't know what else to do and hadn't felt the pain I had in my abdomen before, I called 9-1-1.
An ambulance and firemen came, and they took me to the local emergency room, where they did a test, and I waited, and they hooked me up to an i.v., and I waited, and they did another test, and I waited...
Finally about a little after 10 pm, a doctor came and told me that my gall bladder was--I think she used the word "constricted"--from eating too many fatty foods.
Ugh.
While I was at the E.R. (maybe three hours?) I did start to feel better. I was given some instructions to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables this weekend, and next week to make an appointment with my primary physician as well as a follow-up ultrasound. Ugh again.
When it was all over, the gal at the front desk called me a cab. I think I may have gotten to bed by eleven thirty?
Oh, well. At least it wasn't anything terribly horrible--and I think part of the problem was that I got "hooked" on this beef jerky and was eating it most every day in my lunch.
I packed my lunch with tons of fruit today--and had a little piece of turkey at our graduation party at school. I've definitely got to pack in the fruits and vegetables this weekend, then next week I'll have to start making all of the appointments.
So, that was my "adventure for the week. I would prefer not to repeat it.

Good to hear that you are okay now. And I hope that the ultra sound result will be normal. I also want to give you a piece of advise. Drink lots of water to flucb down all the toxins in your system and once in a while try to do detox, if you can't try to consume food or drinks that are rich in antioxidants.
