Why do people labour so much but still end up poor

I look at some factory workers and menial workers labour in both winter and summer but still end up poor and I'm like is it destiny or they don't spend wisely because some end up homeless.What do you think makes it this way?

The mindset is of an employee one. Go figure that out.

Because of overspending and sometimes they don't know how to save for the future.
