That is sad about Kate Spade

I read yesterday that the famous handbag designer Kate Spade committed suicide. Today, there is an article out on Yahoo saying that she committed suicide as a result of her husband seeking a divorce.
This just makes me more sad. It grieves me.
I had heard of her. I had always admired her handbags and have always wanted to buy one. I have not bought one because I always thought they were expensive, high end like Michael Kors bags.
To buy one of her handbags would be like a dream. Now, out of respect for her and to honor her memory, I am going to try and save up some money to buy one of her handbags for Christmas.
I am depressed.

Wow! A breakup can cause a lot of turmoil and bad hasty decisions. I remember when things did not work with my 1st wife after about 15 yrs of marriage, I almost went that route myself.

For whatever reason, divorce is a blow to women. She must have been very painful to do so.

People's lives can change like a marriage which is happy and a divorce which is sad. Kate Spade didn't like her husband moving out. The fact that he asked for a divorce tipped her over the edge. It is so sad that Kate Spade killed herself. Her 24 year old marriage was sad to end.

This was really unfortunate. I didn't believe it when I heard the news but things like this happen, even to the most renowned people. I love her bag designs. They are unique and bubbly looking. Someone should continue her legacy, and continue her household name.
