Long ago, my dentist had told me that I am having periodontist, there is no way I could cure the problem, just reduce the receding gum by visiting the dentist for scaling and correct method of brushing teeth.
I tried but my gum bleeding and receding gum plus calculus accumulated as years past by. As I almost gave up to losing all my teeth, recently I read some articles about using homemade toothpaste that might reduce receding gum problem.
Now I mix 1 tsp of hydrogen peroxide with 1 tsp of baking soda to form a paste, brush my teeth as usual, by golly, it was SO SALTY! I forgot that baking soda is also salt! After rinsing with water, I brush my teeth again with regular toothpaste to clear off the abrasive baking soda.
This is the second week, I don't see anymore gum bleeding, no calculus in the gum socket, however I cannot figure out whether my gum had stopped receding or not.
Have you tried homemade toothpaste?

It is salty right? I tried baking soda with hydrogen peroxide, salty.
