We finally arrived in Valenzuela City. My sister is in her errand and waited in front of her house. It wasn’t a long wait. As we enter her living room, my little niece was in surprised seeing one of her favorite Lalaloopsy girls. “Should I be surprised?” In fact, I got scared with her features.lol I am wondering what happened to Barbie dolls. For ladies, “Are you fond of Barbie dolls?” “What’s your favorite toy when you were young?” Image Credit: Shavkat

@ridingbet Wow! You had created your own costume. I bet you won a prize on that. Is there any best costume at that time?

Hi Shav. I agree. Barbie Dolls are more realistic for me during those days. I also played toy cars as well as those big Tonka cars.

I am an adult, but even when I was a little girl I am not particularly fond of dolls. I prefer stuffed animals or plushies. I don't know, maybe because I find dolls with human-like features to be creepy? But stuffed animals are cute and cuddly for me.

When I was a kid, my younger sister does like barbies. She used to cry when seeing big talking dolls.

I like Barbie doll, they are so pretty, petite and sexy. Lalaloopsy is way out of my style good thing, my daughter did not like her at all.

@Hannihar That's nice. Most of my sister's Barbies are long gone. She's not into dolls when we were kids.

I played with our kitten and puppy, never bothered with dolls ever. Barbies are a bit out of date with many kids here these days. But then again, so are Bratz etc. Those Lalaloopsy girls made me think of the cartoon Coraline, a bit on a horror side to me.

I agree. It looks a girl version of a horror film’s character. When my siblings and I were kiddies, we don’t have a lot of toys. Except, my sister has her Barbies given by our aunt in America.

@YrNemo Barbies had entered the business in fashion lately. Most fashion designers had been using them as models. In some point, I agree that they need to be pretty too.

I've heard a lot of ghost story of dolls, but i love the fur and linen dolls, like girls, hunnies and dogs, they touched so gentle and cute,i love to hug them and sleep peacefully. Dolls are all beautiful and adorable gift to the girls. Please not be afraid with it,The moonshine hasn't shadow, what obscured the garden of our heart is our fear inside.Face to yourself and you'll find the courage,Just like come out of your home and you will find the moonshine is not shadow, but the light of love.

I bought my grand daughter a Lalaloopsy doll years ago and the head was so much heavier than the body, it was weird and there wasn't much you could do with the doll.

I agree. If the kids will play them, it can be maneuvered as robots, as the knees cannot be bend.
