Age of Social Media - Pro's & Con's

Social Media is a platform provided to people wherein it has make the lives of human beings quite easy. Pro's of Social Media:- 1. Saving of time, money and energy. 2. Wide access to products and services. 3. Networking with different people across the world. 4. Knowledge gained on different topics. 5. Personal gain as regards to doing study, matrimony, job, business etc. 6. A good source of entertainment as people post videos on YouTube channel or other platforms. 7. A good platform to reunite with long lost friends and distant family members. 8. Freedom to express one's views. 9. Earning a living by being a youtuber or having your own website. Con's of Social Media:- 1. Addiction to various social media platforms. 2. Relationship with family suffers at times as people are all the time on social media thereby giving less time to family. 3. Circulation of obscene videos. 4. Many a times people make their life public on a large scale by posting every activity done by them in their pics and sharing it on Instagram, thus privacy is lost by them. 5. Hacking of accounts taking place. 6. Constant anxiety for updating their profiles on different platforms. 7. Freedom to express one's views. These are my observations regards to pro's & Con's of social media. If you guys think I have missed any point kindly let me know in the comments section. Many people would be wondering why i have written one point i.e. "Freedom to express one's views" in both the section, the reason being it's good that people are able to express their views & opinions. At times people on social media uses abusive language or nasty remarks if they don't like someone's work or what they have said which is wrong according to me. Constructive criticism is always welcome but one doesn't need to be unnecessarily rude or abusive to someone.
