We have Freedom of Speech at least

Philippines

It's my country's independence day celebration and held a speech at the Aguinaldo Shrine. But it was heckled by protesters who likes to seek attention, but they were later removed. Unfortunately, It was traumatic for a girl scout who was near them. The Vice President was at the Rizal park holding a Flag Ceremony. They were many different programs to this day but I didn't get to watch them. I've always had my little flag displayed near the door, unlike others who only displayed it on the said day. Regardless of problems over here, were happy that we have freedom of speech. It can annoying at times but it's better than being silenced like some countries out there.

I hope you had a good independence day ! Freedom of speech is something fragile. Reporters without borders ranks Philippines 133/180 countries this year for freedom of press, which should be worrying.

@Letranknight2015 I believe Reporters without borders, they know better than anyone the problems they have to do their job in a country and can compare.

@topffer I have found them to be bias as well and there was evidence that I saw in youtube. But forget them the international media has proven itself since duterte won.

Hello @topffer right. Trouble is I don't believe that ONE BIT since the media weren't hold back from doing their "manipulative reporting". They can keep people making exaggerated reports but people in my country aren't going to be fooled anymore.

I know the politics there is currently complicated because of fake news and other controversies but yeah at least people can complain what they don't like about the government even if they can get cyber bullied by trolls for stating an opinion.
