Now I apreciate the fact that the world recognizes Irish the tradition of March 17'ths O'Holy holiday, Saint Patrick's day, but does anyone recognise why? Or that it's not just another excuse to drink, or that "GREEN BEER" is only an Americanized marketing ploy, or that Everyone is NOT irish on St. Patties day, except FOR THE IRISH? Here's a little rant, Rave, And school'n on why we, the TRUE Irish patrons of Irish descent, celebrate the existance of OUR St. Patrick..... Erin go BRAH!!!

Only the Americans and the Irish reconise St. Patricks day and it is a massive marketing ploy in America. Though just as only the English do St.George's (albiet it losely) I believe St. Patrick spent several years in prison in Ireland before going onto bring Christianity to the Celts? I can't say I know too much about it, though I don't celebrate it either.
