I am not sure whether I obtained them before she passed or after, and I don't believe I've read the entirety of the series. Like yesterday's book, this book is set in a different time period.

@thislittlepennyearns That would be a lot of fun. I like corresponding with people who recommend books. There is a big box of books that were once my mothers. I don't know that I will ever read them but I could atleast read the synopsis and post about them here on mylot. She had a lot of Trixie Belden books, some Nancy Drew as well though I don't think I have those anymore. There's some John Jakes Books. Some books that I think would appeal more to the male readers here.

Is this book a firsthand accounts of the people's journey?

It has been a long time since I've read it, but yes I think it's from their own point of view. It's a work of fiction but written like it's truth.
