I also lost some. Then I started a discussion : DO YOU THINK LOST DISCUSSIONS GO TO THE SAME PLACE AS SINGLE LOST SOCKS IN THE WASHING MACHINE? I think that also disappeared, cuz I never saw it again.

I myself always thought the washer or dryer ate them lol they go in seems like though every so often only one would come out.

I've come to join you kids in the back row, since I've been getting deleted too.
What I want to know is why that "I'm so ashamed I made my sister pregnant" discussion always seems to be on one of the first 3 pages. He seems to be offending plenty of people, and nothing I tried to start was that taboo laden.

I agree, the "enforcement" of whatever standards they have here is inconsistent. I would rather allow discussions I don't agree with than ban some legitimate ones.

What do you mean, how would that happen? It's happened to quite a few people -- getting their discussions deleted -- as shown in this and other discussions.

Ok I just had my discussion deleted and I don't understand why. I am so mad I could scream. I do not fell that it broke any of the guidlines. I even started one right after the new rules were set that did break the rules, but that one was not deleted. I e-mail mylot wanting to know why, but I have not heard anything yet. Did any one else e-mail mylot and did you get a respones?

should the user "essa88" be banned? is gone. And so is my discussion here perhaps. heh heh
Its ok. It was a flame war even if a significant number of posters felt this way. I am just disappointed that I didn't get to finish reading it all.

I woke up this morning and had 4 less started discusions than I did yesterday morning...and one less best response...I had to have startd at least 10 yesterday....seems someone whipped them into "limbo"???? I have been keeping a log all week to see what is there..has been very intersting...

Isn't that ironic: you want your discussion deleted and they won't do it, but others don't want their discussions deleted yet they are deleted without reason.

I can remember the topic of "Gay is wrong" while the title is obviously offensive I thought the discussion actually pushed past the 'wrong' aspect to it and gave people's opinions genuinely and most were against the 'wrong' aspect regardless of whether or not they liked it.

Yes, some might argue it's best to keep discussions that start out with a wildly offensive post to see how people condemn it.

They may just delete them because they are too many of the same discussions out there or offensive material. I'm sure though. How do you find out if they have been delted? do they send a letter? warning? If not they should.

Right now they just disappear. You look for them in your discussions or try to search, and find that they're nowhere.

I got 3 of those. What does it mean? How do they get resolved? Does that mean they take away your response boxes? I have a discussion right now that doesn't have a response box, only 'add comment' boxes. And then I get bumped out of discussions and have to keep signing on all the time.

I don't think it is deleted. Maybe i has not receive any replies yet. I have posted questions here but it has not been responded yet. Maybe in time. I suggest mylot displayed unresponded questions not only as brain twister but good questions and concerns from members.

I would like to make a memorial to the discussion "MyLot Goats", by Transdisc. This one had some six pages of responses when it was deleted, covering a wide range of thought. Some people were confused, some people were amused, obviously at least one as*hole felt abused.
My condolences to the author. It was a funny and interesting discussion, and it is missed. Peace!

Hi all,
I came into mylot today to respond to the 10 more replies I had to my discussion only to find that it had been deleted. I answered over 20 requests just last night before i went to bed.
There was nothing wrong with my discussin except that it was becoming popular i thought. There is no other discussion like it on mylot I searched just in case this was the reason and it wasn't. The search even suggested I start a discussion with this topic.
Angel card messages has been deleted. Why????
I would sure like to know as I enjoy helping others.

ROTFLMFAO! This is one of the funniest discussions ever! I haven't had any discussions deleted yet, but I'll be sure to come and tell you when it happens! Of course, if they didn't delete my "The flames of hell are burning a little brighter today with Jerry for fuel!", I don't know what I could write that they'd get rid of!
