The consumption of aerated drinks have increased so much worldwide. The researchers in the USA at Ohio State University conducted a research as per which they found out that graphic images on packaging related to obesity, diabetes and tooth decay led to a 14.8 % drop in purchases. Especially in USA where consumption of sugary drinks is always on a high. The researchers are thinking of taking such steps in order to curb it's consumption and spread awareness of health issues faced by people because of enormous consumption of drinks done by them. Even people in India have started consuming more aerated drinks because of wide variety of products available in the market. All new international brands are also getting launched in Indian Market. What are your views about this research? Do you consume aerated sugary drinks? How often you have it?

Occasionally I consume, not regularly. Inspite of the fact that these drinks can clean toilet people still consume it . Also drinks that are sugar-free contain artificial sweeteners which are bad for your health. Is there a aerated drink on earth which is good for health ?

I hope it helps. Lately, here, there are labels in a lot of things we eat. They have to have labels such as "high in calories" or "high in saturated fats". I think that it should help in part to avoid those.

Interesting study! I've seen skinny people drink sugary drinks. Though overall its something like 2/3 of Americans are overweight. Its a lot more than just sugary drinks being easier to access. Any step for education and improvement is worth a shot!
