Satisfied With What You Have

I think if one can get satisfied with what he or she has then there is nothing more that can make her or him feel good about as most are in the race to get ahead of each other but it's a very difficult thing to feel satisfied in today's environment and situation as we all see others and even if we don't want, we and others compare us with them and most of the times it makes us feel bad as well.
What are your views about it? Are you satisfied with what you have? Or you strive for more and more? Please share.

@thesupersingh It is never easy to be satisfied because we also thirst for something more. But you can still be contented with what you have.

I have always been satisfied with what I have. I guess it is because I have so many other things.

@thesupersingh You just work hard. Just don't worry too much. One day at my age, you will have this feeling. You will be very satisfied with yourself at that time.

@thesupersingh I feel satisfied when I get what I want. Well, if I don't get what I want that does not mean I will go and kill myself. I am contented with what I have.

There are times when I'm extremely satisfied and happy with what I have. Buy, on the other hand, there are also days when I try best to be better and better.

At this point I am satisfied with what I have. There were times when I wasn't always satisfied and needed to achieve and win, but been there done that,

I am content with what I have and don't search for anymore. Of course it was different when I was younger but now that I am retired and spend more time practicing Buddhism I am satisfied with what I have. Of course, if you feel that you have too much money, I will be happy to give you my PayPay deposit name!

though my colleagues and former students have better lives than some of us their teachers, i am quite satisfied with my life and career now. i would not want to aspire for more because for me, wanting more will not make me grounded forever.

I think that most of us always want more, it's not a negative thing, and with saying this, we always have to be thankful about what we already got in our life.
