I lose my temper

It is so hard to teach young kids. There are times when I get so upset seeing my son's silly mistakes. I know he knows his studies well but it is his silly mistakes which make me lose my temper.

I think remaining positive and happy will have a better result for you both. It can be difficult to teach kids to retain information sometimes but in my experience the more enjoyable the learning is the more they tend to remember.

So this! Kids have great minds to learn all kinds of things. They learn better through creative freedom and seeking information about topics they actually enjoy!

Patience is virtue. You have to have more and more of them. If you cannot beat them, join them. I learn that the hard way having a son with mild autism makes it more challenging as he is more naughty, more tough.

You need to cultivate patience specially while dealing with kids. These days' kids need handling

@amitkokiladitya So what is your approach to achieve that? Controlling anger is not easy. Someone suggested that one counts up to ten and by then the anger gets diffused.

@amitkokiladitya at 4, their best learning experiences are through play. Have you thought about waldorf education? I learnt about it from an awesome mom on another writing website and really think its worth consideration....

i guess when we have high expectations we get frustrated. maybe ask him why he makes the same mistakes, or giving the wrong answer, or ask him to explain how he came up with the answer so you can trace where he errs.

He knows the answers. It is just his carelessness and nothing else
