My Crochet - A Rug

Here's my latest crochet projects (well one of them) I usually have at least two going at the same time. But i'll show you this one.
It's a round rug i'm making with a big crochet hook, and eight strands of yarn at once. So far it's up to 48 inches across. I'm not sure how big i'm going to make it yet. I guess when ever i get tired of making it. This is getting pretty heavy and thick too. I'm making this mostly with darker colors. I will be listing it for sale in my shop when it's finished.
Do you use rugs? What are you're favorite color combos?

What is the worsted weight of the yarn you are using?

Most are 4, some a little. thinner, some wavy. Basically whatever i have in my stash.

@Debscrochet Would it be harder to crochet with the wavier yarn?

@ScribbledAdNauseum I guess it would depend on how thick and the hook usef. This one isn't bad. I only used one skein of it

Hi Debs. So nice and beautiful as always. We have rugs at home but I do not usually put a crochet for a rug. I will place it on the table.
