Surat is known as "The Diamond Hub" of India. Diamond Industry of Surat, India is very popular for doing large scale export of diamonds among other countries. Another milestone achieved by Surat's Diamontaire namely Vishal Agarwal and Khushbu Agarwal is by constructing the ring using a base component and 48 individual diamond encrusted petals. The Lotus shaped ring weighs just over 58 grams and has been valued at RS 28 crores. The number of diamonds used in designing the ring is 6,690. They have created The Guinness Book of World Record for " Most diamonds set in one ring".
