My dog died and i did not even get to say goodbye

i arrived at my house from a trip a few hours ago and I was looking for my dog. Then my mom said that he died a few hours after I left the house for my trip. I could not believe it. I did not even get to say goodbye, i did not think that was the last time i was going to see him. I cried and cried. They have already buried him a few hundred meters away.

@lady1993 What could have happened for a healthy, active dog to die all of a sudden? Poor fella but now he'll be happy he'd finally cross the rainbow bridge.

@pitsipeahie he does get sick every few months and we take care of him until he recovers.. maybe he has just weak resistance

It saddened me everytime i read a post about their dog friends being gone and wasnt able to bid goodbye. Sorry for your loss.
