Richard Bonnano, 61, of Scituate Massachusetts started this idea of taking broken down bicycles that his clients cannot use. Richard then repairs the damaged bicycle and with the help of Hingham resident Brian McGeoghegan and the social media page Facebook, he sends the repaired bicycle free of charge to charities around the globe. Thanks to the residents of Scituate and the good deeds that Richard has done by donating the used bicycles to charities around the world. Richard likes doing this work for charity since he is doing good deeds without much fanfare, his rewards are larger.

Well, I think that is nice. It might be useless to someone but very useful to anyone too.

That's a really good idea on several points. First of course the bicycles go to people who need them and they are kept out of the overflowing landfill. They give him a sense of purpose, too.

That is a great charity, I have heard of larger charities that do something similar, like the World Bike relief.
