Rent To Own

Here is a question for you Is rent to own better then credit cards. People use this because they do not have the money to buy things out right. So there is ways of doing things with low monthly down payments. But credit cards they wont take back the merchandise if you miss payments but the cons is it can ruin your credit. So my question is what do you think is better rent to own or buying things with credit cards.

@William21001 Well the rent to own will somehow give you a chance to own the house. But would not that be too long?

I think credit card is the better choice if you have the capacity to pay the full amount instead of just paying the minimum due to avoid their interest trap, but then again it depends on your earning capacity and ability to pay, also I think it depends whether or not the thing you would purchase is a minor or a big ticket item.
With rent to own, their interest is already with the price plus as you said it could be repossessed if you fail to pay.

I rent because I cannot afford to buy. I would prefer having our own place and no one can kick us out and we can insulate it and make it quiet for us. I try not to use my credit card much and if I do I try to make payments.

It's better to have a rent to own house than renting forever..
