My Mom Finally Allowed Me!

A week ago, I ask my mom if I could attend my classmates' debut but unfortunately she said no. But yesterday, I was talking to my friend over the phone, and she said her mom wants to talk to my mom. Her mom ask my mom if i could go to the debut and I'm welcome to their house if my mom ever let me sleep there. Miracle happened and my mom suddenly let me and they are going to fetch me even though we dont have a car. The thing is a part of me doesn't want to go anymore but my friend keeps on bugging me to go. I still have a lot of time to decide though I'm pretty sure my friend wont stop convincing me.

That call from your classmate's mom gave the assurance to your mom that you'll be fine at the part. Your safety was your mother's utmost concern.

if her mother even volunteered to talk to your mother and they will even pick you up, then it would be a bit embarrassing to cancel or come up with an excuse as the day of the event nears.
