World Cup, Wimbledon, or FIBA?

Which one do you watch more often? I love watching all three, especially when my husband is around. One early rainy morning, we found ourselves glued to the telly for that South Korea vs. Germany game in World Cup. Last night, we were watching Roger Federer 'take a stroll' through his match with a wildcard. And in between, we actually witnessed on TV that brawl between the Australian basketball team and Gilas Pilipinas during FIBA. Oh my! Did you guys see that one? I was so sad for both teams and I really felt bad that it had to happen. Anyway, if I were to choose among the three events I'd rather spend more time on Wimbledon. Next would be World Cup and FIBA would be last. How about you?

Here I think the World Cup is still the most popular event. I like World Cup and Wimbledon but perhaps I like to watch World Cup much more. I haven't heard about Fiba yet.

I prefer tennis. I cannot keep up with the other two sports.

I would think so too as football is very popular in South America.

None of the three. I did watch Wimbledon years ago.

I missed much of the French Open. I'm now trying to watch as much Wimbledon as I can before the US Open starts.

I watch both the World Cup and Wimbledon, but the World Cup has priority because it's the biggest competition in the most popular sport on Earth and it only takes place every four years; I have watched most of the games of this World Cup and I already feel a little sad when I realize that the end is getting closer and closer, but the fact that this global celebration of football doesn't happen every year makes it even more exciting and dramatic for the players and spectators alike.

Very well said. I share the same sentiments and observation. I watched Columbia vs. England a while ago and I really felt that huge mix of emotions. This is an interesting World Cup by far.
