Ed Sheeran's Castle on the Hill

Surely, this song is not really about a Viking and his dragon. Ed Sheeran was clearly singing about something else entirely.
But Toothless brought me here so... this post is (still) mostly about HTTYD.
If you watched the video linked in the last post, Castle on the Hill is the song on HTTYD 3's trailer. And another reason why I think (hope) the movie will end with Hiccup visiting Toothless and the dragons.

The song is about going home. I still live where I grew up, but I expect this is what it's like for those who have gone to live in another place. When it's time for them to visit home, I expect they go down memory lane like this, longing to get there.
-------------------------
Lyrics:
When I was six years old, I broke my leg
I was running from my brother and his friends
And tasted the sweet perfume of the mountain grass I rolled down
I was younger then
Take me back to when
I found my heart, broke it here
Made friends and lost them through the years
And I've not seen the roaring fields in so long
I know, I've grown
But I can't wait to go home
I'm on my way
Driving at 90 down those country lanes
Singing to Tiny Dancer
And I miss the way you make me feel
And it's real when we watched the sunset over the castle on the hill
Fifteen years old and smoking handrolled cigarettes
Running from the law through the back fields and getting drunk with my friends
Had my first kiss on a Friday night
I don't reckon that I did it right
I was younger then
Take me back to when
We found weekend jobs
When we got paid, we'd buy cheap spirits and drink them straight
Me and my friends have not thrown up in so long
Oh, how we've grown
I can't wait to go home
I'm on my way
Driving at 90 down those country lanes
Singing to Tiny Dancer
And I miss the way you make me feel
And it's real when we watched the sunset over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill
One friend left to sell clothes
One works down by the coast
One had two kids but lives alone
One's brother overdosed
One's already on his second wife
One's just barely getting by
But these people raised me
And I can't wait to go home
And I'm on my way
I still remember these old country lanes
When we did not know the answers
And I miss the way you make me feel
It's real when we watched the sunset over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill
Over the castle on the hill

And so, maybe this is Hiccup going home at the end of the movie.
Not to Berk. I mean, if Berk survives this 3rd movie... ... ... There are scenes in the trailer where it seems the houses are getting destroyed. But from the first movie, Berk has already been 'an old village with lots and lots of new houses', so rebuilding wouldn't be a new concept for them.
But I digress...
If Berk survives, I expect Hiccup would still live there and be the Chief. So, while Berk is his home, he also has another home. Because home is where the heart is, isn't it? And Hiccup would be going home to his friends, his family - his dragons - when he visits them in their hidden world, at the end of the movie.
At least, I hope...
(More unnecessary rambling follows...
Now I wonder if Berk survives. Or did Hiccup speak true when he said 'we all have to disappear, completely off the map'. Er... even Berk?
Was the island destroyed? Is it now just a hole (coughcough) in the middle of the ocean? Nah. That's probably a different hole.
But maybe Hiccup and his village has relocated elsewhere. Say, somewhere between the hidden world and the rest of the world to ensure no one ever finds it...)
