I have been doing a similar series to this one about books that I have read, and when organizing DVDs earlier today I decided to do one for movies/television shows as well. We all know that I have plenty of movies and tv shows to write about, and the collection keeps going. I'm not doing these in any order, simply just grabbing them off the various shelves and writing about them. The goal is to write about all the ones I own, and others as I get them or see them. Maybe you (the reader) will find a new favorite movie, or remember an old favorite. So without further ado, here is number one.
Rodeo Girl is a 2015 movie produced by Be Your Own Hollywood Productions. It stars Kevin Sorbo and Sophie Bolen. Kevin Sorbo is a retired rodeo rider, that lives on a ranch. His whole world is turned upside down when his daughter who he hasn't seen since she was a baby (played by Sophie Bolen) comes to stay with him. The relationship is strained to say the least in the beginning. Priscilla (Bolen) is used to a "higher" class life than what her dad leads and it takes her awhile to adjust to his slower paced life.
Things get complicated when she becomes involved with the rodeo and a teen rodeo rider. Priscilla who is a accomplished equestrian thinks that she can just naturally be a great rodeo roper and rider because of that. Little does she know that she has a lot to learn, not only about riding but about her father as well.
It's a sweet movie, and considering I only paid a dollar for it from Dollar Tree I wasn't really expecting much from it. The acting equates to that of a Hallmark movie. The start of the movie is a little slow, and the acting is okay but not expectional. It's not the worst thing I've ever watched, but not the best either.
Rodeo Girl gets a 3/5.

I have not seen this one. Kevin Sorbo cranks out like 20 movies a year.

@thislittlepennyearns He never was the greatest actor always in stuff like Hercules. Never major. He makes a lot of faith based movies.
