Pardon me if I was absent for the whole day. I had some very important matters to do that needs to be done on time.
Last night, while doing the laundry, Eric called me in terror... his childhood friend's kids were killed on July 4th. A 16 and a 13 year old siblings. They were hit by a car while walking on a neighbor's lawn. They were rushed to the hospital but did not make it. Both were dead on the spot.
My heart sunk. Her kids were very smart and beautiful. A typical teenager but good kids. I was crying while reading the news of what happened.
Just a couple weeks ago, when I had my car accident, she was there for me and Eric. She was hands on with what she could help us with. Now, this is what happened. Nobody has ever thought that this tragic loss will happen on the 4th of July..
We were saddened by this tragic event in her life and her family.
Please say a prayer to the our friend and her family and the victims - her kids.
Rest In Peace, beautiful kids.

How absolutely horrifying @Deajae72 . I can't even begin to imagine the pain they are in.

@Deajae72 it should be the children who will bury the parent not the other way around. Just sad because they could do so much more.

Life can change in one moment. These teens were not crossing a road. They were on your neighbours lawn so that was a safe place compared to a road. Sorry you had a car accident a couple of weeks ago. I feel very sorry for these teens parents. Rest in peace teens.
