Love or Money

I don't know why people compared love with money when it's two different things. They say that when you choose money, love with choose you too. I just hope that they are joking about it. Money is imporrtant for it sustains our needs; but it isn't actually our need. When people choose you for money and when you die they will be very glad, because they will take your money and leave you forgotten. But when people choose you for love and when you die, they will be in pain and feel very sad. They will miss, remember you and will continue to love you. That's the difference between love and money.

I choose love because I can earn money for living. Love is hard to find but money is easy to find.

This is a joke. I have heard a popular saying that one would rather cry in Hawaii than laugh in the country

Love don't frustrates us, people do.

Yes, you are right. But a lot choose money, confusing it with love. Love disguised is the most disgusting of all when some claim to love but choose money at the end of the day instead of true love.

Love and money can't be compared with each other actually, in fact they are interconnected. When you really love someone, you want to give that person what he/she deserves, the best life has to offer and the comfort of not worrying, but to do that you'll need money, that's why people work so hard to give the people they love an easy and comfortable life, like what parents(most of them) do for their family. While ironically, when you have money, an endless amount of resource that you can get anything you want, in the end you will still want to find love because all your money isn't worth anything if all you have is yourself. And love isn't always about having a partner, it also means having a family that supports you and friends that are always by your side. I don't don't know if I got off topic, I just got carried away. haha.

@Lissiel yeah, some people do compare, or worse, some people "love" "money", and that's when it gets bad. i'm kind of a hopeless romantic, that's why i get carried away in this kind of topic.

Yes we can't compare the two, but some people really like to compare it; that's why I created the topic. You're absolutely right, money is temporal and limited, while love is endless as they say. We only use the money to make our loved one's life comfortable; however, some people treated money like their master. It's okay, we really get carried away with an interesting topic.

Love is very special and it is rarely everlasting. I met a very special man on a long distance walk in 2005. We met up to do another long distance walk from Dover to Deal. I asked if he wanted to take the bus back and he said no thanks to that. We walked ever such a lot and became tired. We saw some UK to France ferries from the white cliiffs of Dover. He aked if I wanted to do a day trip to France the next time which I agreed to happily. We took the day trip to France and all went well. We began a relationship and during it we felt like soul mates. Sadly we split up in 2006. With money it is necessary to have enough to live on. It is lovely to have an emergency fund. It is wise to have enough money to pay off any debts.

That's very sad that you have to split up because of money, maybe it's not really meant to be. We really need money as long we don't treat it as power and master and everything. Thank you so much for your story.

I don't have a say about this. Some would choose money over love. There might be a reason for them to do that. That doesn't mean they are greedy. I chose love over money. I married the person whom I thought was going to be my soulmate. He promised my mom to take care of me for the rest of my life, but he ended up breaking my heart. I learned a lot from my heartache.
