Why do you go to church

Today is another Sunday and believers are mandated to be church.we are told not to forsake the gathering of the brethren. I get to church to fellowship with others. How about you,Why do you go to church?

I am a Hindy by religion and we go to temples! But I don't go myself there for I dislike the hypocrisy and cheating by the priests and the temple management there! The innocent people are exploited there in the name of God!

I go to church because it's where I feel encouraged spiritually by the sharing of God's Word and by having fellowship with the others.

I actually don't. This is only my opinion and I don't want to offend anyone, but I really find the act of going to church a little bit pointless.

@augusta123 because i am at a point in my life where i don't believe there is a god, and assuming i do, the act of going to church just to praise him is a bit pointless if you can do it at your own home. again this is just my opinion. peace.
